Breeder Page / Directory Listing
The breeders directory on Cats.com.au is one of the most popular sections of the site. We have 1000's of viewers in search of quality kittens every day and these are fabulous pet homes for your cats. We encourage people to use the clubs and breeders directory if they are considering adding a new member to the family, so if you are in search of good homes for your kittens then add your FREE listing. If you would like to stand out from the crowd then we do offer low advertising rates for breeders and have outlined the packages below. 

Every paid directory listing comes with its own fully self-maintained web page. If you already web site then use your cats.com.au web page to direct traffic to your existing site. If you don't have a web site then this is an ideal place to promote your cats as a user friendly template has been set up to build your web page. You don't need any knowledge of web design what so ever!

Each page can have up to nine photgraphs (depending on level), includes an overview, lists contact details, web site, breeds you are involved with, stud & litter notices and more. Members can upload photographs, which are automatically resized, and change text as many times as they want 24 hours a day. Each listing can be linked to breed profiles pages, these are shown in the Cat Profile directory.

Each directory listing is shown on www.cats.com.au and in the www.ozpets.com.au breeders directory. If you are a dog breeder too and wish to be listed on www.dogs.com.au an additional directory listing will need to be purchased.

Directory listings / web pages may be purchased by members at any time and are valid for a year from the time of first listing by a member.

Paid Breeder listings come with a number of "standard profiles" which can be linked to directly from the breeder's page.

Profiles
Profiles include standard information (DOB, registration & microchip numbers, size, colour etc), images and profile of your animal. It also includes the ability to add show results, medical history, progeny, stud and/or litter notices and pedigree. Some profiles also include priority, highlighted and featured listings.

Search Engine Friendly (SEF) URLs
Premium & Deluxe level listings have the ability to choose their own "Search Engine Friendly" URL. Deluxe listings being able to choose from a list of "reserved" words. This is one of the most important aspects of a Deluxe listing. For example www.cats.com.au/ragdoll, www.cats.com.au/siamese, www.dogs.com.au/devonrex etc.  The domain names or URLs are allocated strictly on a first come first served basis. If you do want to secure an easy to remember domain that will be picked up by search engines quickly then you will need to purchase a Deluxe listing asap as popular names will go fast!.

Priority Listing
A priority listing gives your page a higher ranking in the search results than other level pages. Priority listings are also highlighted and include a thumbnail. Only available at Deluxe level.

Highlighted Listing
A highlighted listing gives your page a greater visibility in the search results. Highlighted listings also have a thumbnail. Only available at Deluxe and Premium level.

Feature Listing
Featured listings will appear as a "Spotlight" on the index page of the breeder section of the cats.com.au and ozpets web site. They randomly change every hour. Paid feature listings can also be purchased independantly.

To purchase a breeder web page please become a member of the www.cats.com.au web site by registering at - www.cats.com.au/members/register.php.

Directory listings can be purchased and paid through our secure online shop. Just mention your www.cats.com.au user name in the comments when you purchase so that we can upgrade your membership to the desired level as soon as payment has been made. You will be notified as soon as your Standard, Premium or Deluxe level is activated and you can then start building your web page.

For upgrades to existing listings please contact us so that we can provide a monthly pro-rata rate depending upon your listings expiry date. e.g. if you decided to start on the standard level but wish to upgrade to Deluxe get in touch.
